We had an amazing two-night stay at this beautiful, old-style mini hotel. Everything was cozy, charming, and full of personality. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and we loved the little details that made it feel extra special.

I really enjoyed my stay—choosing this place made my whole trip incredible. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. While the bathroom and toilet are shared, it wasn’t a big issue.
Breakfasts were a lovely touch, offering a chance to chat with other guests or the welcoming host. Plus, there’s an adorable dog to greet you!
The location is very convenient—just 10 minutes to the center of Genk by public transport or a 40-minute walk. Nearby, you’ll find a large swimming pool, a sports complex, and a park. A grocery store is also within a 15-minute walk.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we hope to return in the summer!

Everything was good! Accidentally we visited during carnaval so the usually quiet neighborhood was loudly celebrating. It was all good though, we could still sleep, the windows are good noise-isolated. The sauna is priceless.
Access was very easy, parking in front of the property, grocery shops nearby, nice view from the embankment, Maastricht and national park hiking area within 15 minutes by car, good cycle paths. I'd recommend it for a weekend getaway.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Really great hosts. The apartment was really clean and modern, with everything we needed. Lovely balcony/terrace outside the apartment overlooking the national park. The interior design was very nice and the shower was super good.
