The room is clean and simple. The view of the dam from the window is wonderful. The hostess is very sweet and speaks so many languages!

The location was perfect. It is close to an incredible view of the Matterhorn. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and had the essentials. The breakfast had a variety of food choices. They also allow you to leave your luggage in the lobby before check-in and after check-out which is very convenient. I definitely enjoyed my stay and I wish I could have stayed longer.

The single room is as big as the twin-size bed, and the furniture is old. It's like a hostel with shared bathroom and shared facilities, but with the benefit of your own room and private sink in the room. All clean. Helpful owner. Good for a quick stopover.

This was the perfect place for me to stay while hiking in the area, although my wife had to cancel due to foot injuries. The host was friendly and knowledgeable about trail conditions following the recent floods, which delayed my arrival, but she informed me about road conditions by phone and messaging. She assisted my befriending another solo international traveler, even though we had no common language - a memory to last a lifetime. Good food proportioned to each guest's needs. Very clean and quiet. I'm already thinking about ways to return, maybe with my wife and a couple hiking buddies.

The staff are friendly and helpful. It's apparently a 4th generation of family ownership. The room has a spectacular view and was comfortable and private. The breakfast had everything you wanted to start your day, and dinner is a fine dining experience with innovative offerings. It is also possible to ski to and from the hotel. There's a free shuttle into town

The location was great - Grachen is a beautiful little village and not far from Zermatt. The breakfast was perfect.

Located in a traditional house in Zermatt, the Stockhorn is only a 10-minute walk from Matterhorn Ski Paradise. It has a restaurant, and offers rooms with balconies and mountain views.
