Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Jerry was a great host, always nice and helpful. He helped us with the trasfer to Yangshuo. Furthermore, he speaks really good English,
Good continental breakfast.
There is a laundry in the hotel.
Huge rooms with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.
Located 10 minutes walking from the city center
Amazing homestay in a beautiful and quiet village 10 minutes away from Guilin. Room was nicely decorated with little cute details and the bed was super comfy. The landlord went above and beyond to make our stay perfect helping us with everything we needed. Must try the rice noodles for breakfast, delicious! Will definitely come back
Luca and Lucy are great hosts! Best stay in Guilin, do not doubt to book here! They help you to organize everything and also have great coffe :) Would come back and recommend it without doubt!
Every box ticked for us. We even danced at the local lakeside pagodas with the locals. The best Western food is the Vienna hotel roof restaurant , a 15 minute walk along the lakeside.
Amazing hospitality, great host (doesn‘t speak English but very accustomed to dealing with foreigners), booked us a didi to town and good deals for tours, washed our laundry for free, gave us watermelon to cool down after hot days - more of a guesthouse feeling than luxury hotel! we really liked it!
The accommodation is located in a beautiful small village close to the center of Guilin. The room is beautiful, big, well decorated and with all amenities needed. For breakfast you can have the famous Guilin noodles, which are delicious.
Xiao Ming is a great host and made my stay super comfortable. He helped me find out how and where to buy the cruise tickets and where to find the street food I was looking for. The free pick up from the train station was a nice touch :)
