It's easy to find, just off the motorway so it makes an excellent stop just before or after the Puttgarten ferry.
The room is lovely, with an outdoor space and easy access to the waterside - perfect for dogs and children. Plenty of parking too.
There's nowhere nearby to eat so we walked to the water then followed the path which leads easily to the quiet road around the bay to the beautiful old town. It's only about 25 mins. Even off-season there's a place open at the harbour, and we ate at Cactus on the main street, outside as we had our dog with us.
Delicious breakfast, served promptly so we left on time to get the ferry south.
