Set in Calibishie, 1.7 km from Number One Beach, Calibishie Sandbar offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a bar. The property features city views.

This place holds a truly special place in our hearts! A hidden gem in every sense, with the most incredible location—perched right above the ocean, giving you the feeling of being surrounded by the sea. The soothing sounds of the waves create an atmosphere of pure serenity. What made our experience even more unforgettable was Christine. Her genuine care and kindness feel like they belong to a bygone era. She was always attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Christine has a remarkable soul, and we sincerely hope to meet her again someday. Thank you for everything—you gave us the most amazing time! Visiting Dominica was an extraordinary opportunity, and we are forever grateful for the memories we made here.

Very friendly and nice hosts. Notice, this is a homestay, so Tim & Mag are there with you...which for me was a great experience. Nice conversations, dont cheat yourself for the great homecooked food. They took me around and showed me some great places. I highly recommend.

Featuring sea views, Veranda View Guesthouse provides accommodation with patio, around 1.9 km from Number One Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

We had a great stay at Veranda View. Hermine is great to talk to! The location is wonderful, we didn't swim, however it was an easy walk to the store for basics and restaurants and bars (we loved Unique Seaview Restaurant). There was a rooster crowing from 2 am on but who knows, maybe it'll be in the pot by the time others stay! Calibishie was a great place to stay as a home base, easy drives (minus the numerous potholes and narrow roads) to #1 Beach, Batibou Bay, Baw Nef Falls, Chaudiere Pool, Morne Diablotins hike. Bonus being close to the airport! Also of note, the windows are not glass, just bars and shutters, so you have to use the mosquito netting at night to keep bugs off of you. It cools off enough that it is comfortable at night (we were there in March). Also there is a warm shower hallelujah!

Kevin is a great host and a very nice person. He helped me plan several tours by public transport and made countless calls to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. Most importantly, he organized a tour in the Kalinago Territory where I got to meet amazing people and learned a lot about Kalinago heritage. It was definitely a good idea to take the breakfast and dinner options, the food is delicious!

It was a brilliant experience. Kevin is a great host. He makes the entire trip feel like a home away from home. The included breakfasts are always a treat, and if you pay 9usd you can have a dinner which is also just amazing. Additional notes: Great WiFi, With the way the rooms are set up, the ventilation and fans make the night extremely cozy, Great water pressure.

Kevin is a great host who cares a lot about the customers and will help you with everything you need. He is such a caring host that even calls when its dark outside and is willing to even get you if there is need for that. The house itself is clean and has a beautiful view (its possible to see the sea from a far). Near the house there 2 small shops in case you want to do grocery or get some other product. If you want to escape the busy life and be near the nature then ill surely recommend it.
