- Review score8.8Excellent · 57 reviewsMatteo was a great host, super knowledgable about the area - he’s studying anthropology and even lived for a while with one of the local tribes, which you can do a day trip to learn about! I really learned a lot chatting with him and I recommend you do the same. The location was also great - it’s a little bit outside of the town (8 minute walk) which means the bird life is much better. Paola is a great host and knows a lot what to do in Mindo.
