The listing states "Refrigerator, Coffee machine, Tea/Coffee make, Microwave" which the room does not have. As well as "Free toiletries" when I've asked the owner, he told me I needed to go and buy them at the market. So for me it's deceptive advertising and to be very polite "not as described".

Honestly ran by the loveliest of people. Alfredo showed me parts of his fruit farm and let me know I could help myself to as much as I please. It’s only 3 dollars in a taxi to the town at any time, but Alfredo will take you for just 2 dollars if he is available.

We spent our first nights at the Galapagos islands in La Casa de Alexita. Our room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was a good addition to our trip, enabling us to prepare fruits and fresh juices on our own. We also got help with booking all our trips with ferries, which made our traveling much easier across the different islands. We also received help with drying our clothes after using the washing machine. We read some comments about ants, and yes, there are some. However, ants are introduced species in Galapagos, and you will find them everywhere here, so it is just normal. Recommended!

Alejandra was a wonderful host with great local recommendations of things to do and where to go. The house was beautiful and located right on the waterfront for excellent views of the beach, sun, and sea lions. The room had A/C and the beds were so comfortable! It is also very walkable from town.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The house itself has an amazing view over the town out to the coast, it’s really beautiful. Flor and her family and some of the nicest people I’ve ever stayed with. They’re incredibly welcoming and lovely, it was a perfect homestay. There was free fruit and water in the room, and it was very clean.
We had a great time in San Cristobal. Carlos is a great host and helps with everything. The rooms are clean and the terrace is great. Free drinking water!
Spacious and has everything you need! The host family are lovely and they made us a delicious breakfast on our first morning (you just need to ask the night before)
