I stayed at this hotel for one night and encountered an utterly deplorable and potentially life-threatening situation. Despite the quiet hours starting at 10:00 PM, an emergency siren blared at 11:30 PM, accompanied by a strong smell of burning plastic and smoke. Myself and other guests were forced to flee outside into the freezing cold in our pajamas. I have a heart condition and rely on medication, and this incident caused me extreme stress that could have had serious health consequences.
As I was evacuating, I encountered a group of individuals, possibly of Caucasian or Central Asian descent (I know Turkish and recognized they were speaking some Turkic language). They were laughing and, by their own admission, claimed they had started a fire in the kitchen. I captured this on video. After about 10 minutes, a single security guard arrived, and we were allowed back inside 5 minutes later - 20 minutes total in the cold and under immense stress, with no explanation provided. The cause of the fire was never disclosed, raising serious concerns about the hotel’s safety.
After midnight, the siren was tested at least five more times, and until 2:00 AM, I could hear loud conversations, phone calls, and footsteps, making rest impossible. I messaged the hotel owner about the incident at 12:30 AM, but received a response only at 10:30 AM, stating they were unaware of the situation - an astonishingly irresponsible reply. In the morning, I saw the same individuals allegedly responsible for the fire still in the hotel, possibly illegal staff members, which only heightened my sense of unease.
I have all proof - the chat with hotel manager, pictures and videos of the incident. I suggested the manager to send the video as a proof of the fire alarm but he suddenly went silent.
This hotel fails to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality and poses a genuine risk to guests’ safety.

Great location in the outskirts of Tallinn. The area is very green, the beach is closeby, and the port is closeby. The beds were comfortable. Small balcony is perfect to sit outside in the evening. Owner was flexible to welcome us at a later time than expected.

Spacious and well-equipped apartment in a great location with the old town and all sights in easy walking distance. Madis and Tina were great hosts, helping us out of a hole when we stupidly left our passports behind. We can't thank them enough.
It was a really good hostel with young people (there is an age limit 18-40), with a polite and friendly staff. You can easily cook your dinner there, there are nice events organised almost every evening. We went for a karaoke night and it was awesome. Highly recommended place for solo travellers. 👌
Love thelocation...the view was something else, superb i must say. Friendly staff who always ready to offer help. The locals are friendly and very welcoming.
Definitely gonna be coming again.
