Homestay means living in a village exactly the way they live. It’s an experience of deep connection with people, nature and yourself. No comfort like air conditioning, WiFi and everything else you may expect from hotel, apartment and B&B.

Dan and Vilise made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious and their company was amazing! We had a great time snorkelling in the crystal clear water and saw lots of fish. Delicious homemade ice cream also! Our favourite place we stayed in Fiji! ❤️

The guys at Ravita were amazing. The location is gorgeous and everyone goes out of their way to really make your trip special. Sai's cooking is incredible. She will spoil you every day with delightful dishes and fresh baking. I really hope that she gets that Bakery opened one day!
The activities were great, the beach picking, hiking, village tour, Snorkeling and more were so much fun and beautiful. We just had the most amazing time! Thank you all for that.

The local food was delicious and fresh. People are nice and friendly. The bure is right at the beautiful beach. Lovely, sweet sweet dogs to pamper and hug ♡ If you are a dog person, you will love jogging with them at the beach, there are also a few dogs that love to go swimming with you. If you wish to experience fijian life, this is the place. Please note that there is no restaurant, 40 FJD pp is to be paid daily for meals, but again, the food is amazing.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The location is very remote and secluded, it really feels like eco-island life. It is a relaxed atmosphere and you can go exploring by yourself and aren't restricted to certain activities. But they also offered a range of free activities. About a 2-minute walk away there is a cute homestay cafe that you can go to and buy some coconut juice/tea/coffee/cake - we would recommend visiting.
Thank you for giving me such a warm welcome here at Taven Homestay! I have always felt at home far away from my home in Germany. I had a wonderful time playing Uno with Tusi, his wife Julie and Don who also stayed here for more than a few days. Not to mention Salome and all the other friendly people I've met here! The food was really delicious and I felt like I was in a beautifully maintained botanical garden. Next time I am in Fidji I will definitely come back to this place!
I stayed only 2 nights at Navi's homestay and I wish I had more time. They welcomed me as familly, food was delicious, and it was a great experience to discover the local life (going to church, visiting the village, drinking kava with locals..). Thanks for opening your home to me and for your kindness !
We had the most amazing time in TAVEN homestay with Simone and Bill. From lovely food to beautiful sunsets to fishing, we enjoyed every minute. They are a wonderful family who do everything they can to make you feel welcome.
We stayed at Taven Homestay. The family is super lovely and we spend Happy New Year there. We visited the village and got in touch with some of the familys friends. It was a very special experience. Big thank you to the family!
Salome and her husband were very nice and caring. They made us feel like home.
Spending time at this home stay give you a different perspective as how the locals live.
Food and location were perfect.
As a homestay on remote Fijian island this experience was everything that we could have hoped for. The prior information was clear for any traveller to know that they would be getting a truly local life experience.
The host family were extremely welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Plenty of food provided at each meal.
