ThailandThis new place currently has one room only, so too bad I could only stay one night as it was so booked up. But that was also the plus side, very peaceful. The beach is very very beautiful and this place has plenty of shade allowing you to hangout and enjoy the beauty without suffering in the sun. The room and shared bathroom is very nice and clean. A big plus is the 24/7 electricity that other homestays don’t yet have. The host is a great cook, also making organic fruits ice cream that I had to go back everyday even when I stayed another place :) Thank you

United StatesBeautiful fijian property which was kept very clean. Vibrant colours were beautiful! Fantastic people, fantastic location, fantastic food! Cannot recommend enough. So much better than staying in a resort and great value! Fijian owned tourism is the best!

CanadaOur hostess and her family were so nice! The meals were very generous in helpings. Breakfast was delicious! Her homemade breads and other goodies were fantastic! The swimming, I could stay forever, if the sun wasn’t so cruel❣️ Be cautious of the dogs; one tried to bite a child’s face, with no provocation on the child’s part. Otherwise, a nice, quiet location to get away. Mattresses are needing replacement for longer stays 😉 (or older bodies)

Sure food wasn't 5 star but it was tasty and there was always enough (even for my 2 teenage sons). If your happy to forego some luxurys Wai Makre is an amazing experiance in a stunning location. It was neat and clean with a comfortable bed for a home stay, good fly screens and a most appreciated fan. The family was lovely and helpful. There was plentiful food. The best part would have to be their reef out the front. It was probably one of the best snorkelling experiences we’ve had as far as beautiful corals go in Fiji and also some unique fish. If you want to have a local experience and at the same time have a nice bungalow just few steps from the beach, then this is the perfect place! This island and Nacula island where the highlights of our Fijian holidays. Manta snorkelling is very recommended.
