Caroline was the kindest host. she took extra time to answer all of our many questions about the local area and Tour Dr France coming through town. The property is incredibly clean and well maintained. We felt like we were at our own home. We can’t wait to go back. She was also very fluent in English, which was fantastic for us Americans that have failed their French classes, like me.

The apartment has all the amenities needed for short holidays.
It has private access to the beach and a small backyard where you can see the Dover cliffs when is clear enough!
Good location with possibilities of parking.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The breakfast is exceptional - though we had learned from the previous stay not to over-order, so we shared the fruit and the yogout which was still plenty for us.
And similarly, we only ordered half the bread as croissant also available..
Nathalie and Laurent are lovely hosts
, giving a real family feel to the accommodation. Obviously if you prefer a more remote relationship with your host, it might not suit, though they are careful, I think, to check that like us you want to chat...
Small but comfortable budget room in a very centrally located apartment.(homestay). Convenient overnight stop for before and after ferry. . Close to historic square with great selection of bars and restaurants but was very quiet after reasonable hour. There's a small supermarket directly under block and safe street parking. Room has microwave, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and shower/toilet is shared only with friendly host Patsy. Enjoyed my brief stay!
Calais is a busy place and possibly not the prettiest town in France, but it is where the ferry terminal is, so don't go looking for majestic Chateaux here. Instead, you'll find a wonderful B+B with off street parking, lovely hosts and an amazing continental breakfast.
The location is straightforward to find and a very short walk from a whole range of restaurants and bars.
Can't recommend highly enough.
The property is a mini studio apartment with everything you need for a short stay as a couple, kitchenette, bathroom, sofa bed, TV with Netflix, a sitting area & wardrobe. It’s small sweet and to the point. It’s located in a town house in a quiet street in walking distance to the shops, shopping centre and town centre. Friendly locals & Brits were very welcomed here. We loved having the apartment for the weekend.
Great hosts to help you with everything....even after reception 'closed'. Very neat and clean...small room but comfortable, great shower. Really good breakfast. Easy to catch bus or taxi. It exeeded my expectations as an overnight hotel....will be back on the return to Calais.
