The staff could not have been nicer, in fact the most considerate hosts we have ever experienced. They genuinely welcomed us and looked after us throughout our stay, providing a comprehensive guide to the city and really excellent recommendations for eating out. (Our particular favourite restaurant was Berthus.) Communication was excellent, with staff anticipating our needs before we had even thought about them. The room was spotless, tastefully decorated and quiet. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Despite the communal kitchen having been booked for private use during our stay, the staff were able to arrange for us to eat breakfast there at the last minute on a rainy morning which was very much appreciated. The location was perfect for a short city break.

This secure building had been beautifully renovated and was in a quiet neighbourhood right next to a glorious public park/garden which we enjoyed walking through every day on our way to the Bordeaux city centre which was only a quick 15 minute walk. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful for the duration of our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend the Maison Heym. Their bathroom products were amazing!

Everything was just perfect. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Nice shower and comfy bed. Easy connection to the city center of Bordeaux. Just a few minutes walking to the tram. I would choose this accommodation again with 100 percent certainty for my next visit to Bordeaux or Merignac. A little gem not to forget.
