Another comfortable stay in the large twin room at The Royal Oak. Well maintained room. Sumptuous carpet, characterful decor and furniture. Clean and spacious shower room. Low noise from welcoming pub downstairs until it closes, then unobtrusive high street noise in the morning.

My son now lives in Newcastle under lyme and needed somewhere close comfortable and reasonably priced and The Victoria ticked all those boxes will definitely be staying again. Even though there was music in the pub it did not disturb our stay.

Great location, staff where extremely friendly and the vibes where amazing. Everything was clean and if you needed anything they were more than happy to help and give info. It was also a quiet area and when in the rooms it was nice and quiet and you couldn’t hear anyone else in there rooms. It also had a small communal kitchen which was great if you wanted to have food in your room. There was a smart TV as well and plug sockets next to the bed so you didn’t have to charge your phone on the other side of the room. Also the car park has 24hr CCTV which is good for piece of mind. All in all a great stay for the price!

I felt really comfortable. Great bed, lovely TV room and a breakfast room next to the kitchen . Coffee in the morning outside in the garden in the fresh air... Eloisa is a great host. Helpful, Bright and Relaxed.
