We had our own section of the property, really. A cozy bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. All separate from each other but adjacent. Host was very friendly and accommodated our last minute late arrival. Even managed to get us twin beds for our stay.

We would rate 12 if we could! This stay far exceeded our expectations. The grounds are lovely, the owners are welcoming, and everything was extremely comfortable and spotless. We enjoyed our breakfast and loved playing with the owner’s sweet dog Ellie. ♥️

Excellent breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Very clean.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Lovely host (thank you Shona) and the house is in a fabulous location. The place was immaculately clean and the bath (no proper shower just one which attaches to the taps) was massive so if you are visiting take some nice bath things for a real treat. Great location for our stop over on the way to the Isle of Harris and again on our way home.
Great host, beautiful house and garden. Breakfast was great, and watching the birds and red squirrels topped it off. One of our favourite stops on our West Highland Way trip. We would definitely return for another visit.
After whole day spend on walking WHW in a rain, soaked to the bone, we were warmly greated by our lovely host Jan.
He made sure our clothes and boots were dry for the next day.
