Had room 10 on top floor which has a fantastic view of the beach etc. Also a bonus having a small living room which is worth paying extra for. All the staff were brilliant, polite and friendly. Everywhere was very clean. Food was fantastic although portions were huge! No issues with parking and location is perfect for the beach etc.

I was travelling for a wedding so didn't get to spend a lot of time in my room, but the room was super clean (flawlessly clean), the bed was incredibly comfortable and Sandy was super lovely and helpful with whatever myself and my friends needed. She even recommended a great pub for us to grab dinner in. It was a great long weekend away!

The room was very comfortable and clean. Loved having a coffee maker and supplies in the room. The water in the fridge was a nice touch. Would definitely book here again.

Excellent location for beach, restaurants etc. Convenient parking just outside the building. Very clean and breakfast was excellent. Lizzie & Steve are very helpful hosts. We will be back in the near future.

The Anchor Inn is a wonderful, friendly place to stay. Well kept and maintained whilst full of character! The food was delicious and all of the staff were super friendly and understanding of our needs. The locals were very welcoming and chatty and the village itself is very pretty, albeit a little remote, which we were already aware of.
Great breakfast, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurts, toast, assorted drinks, cooked to order hot breakfast with wide choice. Towels and bedding changed during our 5 day stay, room cleaned every day. Very knowledgeable hosts in respect of the local area. Lifts offered to start and end points of our planned coastal walks. Very good choice of local eateries for the size of the village within easy walking distance, friendly staff and 'locals' in the pub. Very friendly hosts, highly recommended. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
In a quiet Location. Cosy comfortable cottage on farm land well away from road noise. Great host who where there if we needed anything but left us alone to enjoy our time away. Great bed and we slept so well. Wood burner was very efficient throwing out lots of heat. But equally the underfloor heating was great to. We loved watching the birds everyday as there was a bird feeder in the garden and saw deer on one of our walks in the fields behind the cottage.
Charming pub and well attended by the locals which is always a good sign! Nice food and they were helpful when they were fully booked to give us a quick snack!
Just lovely hosts - made us feel so very welcome! Great breakfast & lift from and back to the coast path was very much appreciated, thank you, John!
