Very friendly hosts and staff. Breakfast was very good. Small problem with the tv as some channels were quite pixilated. Toilet seat was loose but shower room generally was very nice.

Charming little place in a very quiet location, I'd love to go back with friends or family and have everybody in the big kitchen and open dining space. The separate little breakfast/evening dining space had a great little log fire and a well stocked bar. I used the lounge on the last night and Kay (hostess) set the log fire up in there too whilst I had sampled a few whiskeys after the Loch Ness Marathon, a perfect end to an already great weekend! :) There's a little walk (loop) you can do on an evening through Tomatin and back around the road that leads to the lodge, it's only short but it was nice and quiet with no cars. If I pluck up the courage to run or visit Inverness again, I'd be more than happy to check in here

Lovely welcome on arrival.
Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
We were fortunate to have great weather so made full use of the little garden to watch the amazing amount of songbirds and woodpecker.
Everything you needed was thought about and provided. Advice on the local area was forthcoming. Lovely woodland works from the door to the river.
Very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Service from Kirsty and Kev was fantastic. The food was wonderful and the room was clean, comfortable and warm. I would book again for a future trip to Aviemore. Lovely stay.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great farm location. Lovely host. Can walk straight out of the door into the forest. Will definitely be going back.
