Offering a garden, Hillcrest Guest House provides accommodations in Llangollen. This guest house offers free private parking, a shared lounge, and free Wifi.

Bed was very comfortable, I would have liked a bigger cup in the room for coffee, and to change my choices for breakfast. Car parking was spacious and necessary. Not sure about dogs in the dining room x

2 Bodwen Villas enjoys a location in Llangollen, 25 miles from Chester Racecourse and 30 miles from Chester Zoo. This pet-friendly guest house also has free Wifi.

First of all, this was a good value, no frills accomodation. The room was a decent size on the ground floor of a Victorian property. The location was on a quiet residential road and the other residents were quiet during the hours of darkness. The bed was very soft but suited me well. The instructions to access the building were excellent. The bathroom was small but had an excellent.shower - perhaps a little on the hot side. The basin, unfortunately, was blocked during my stay which was a bit unpleasant. Nice to have been given a bottle of water and a pint of milk. The accomodation suited my needs for the 2 nights I was in Llangollen.

There was no breakfast, and really no staff about. I had the place to myself so that was good. I enjoyed staying in the area, met some nice locals and had a great time up the road on Jazz music night.

The room was clean and large. The food was really nice, both evening and breakfast. The staff were really friendly and even the locals who use the bar area were also very friendly. There was a garage to park our motorcycle in as well. Great place to stay.

Lovely friendly hotel with astonishing history and beauty. We were made welcome from the second we walked in to the second we walked out. The locals were as friendly as the staff and gave us some great insider knowledge of the area. Food was superb both in the evening and at breakfast. The welsh lamb steaks were to die for and the fish pie was the best we ever had. It was definitely not dry !! Rooms were clean spacious and very comfortable. You would struggle to find a better hotel in this area.
