The waterfront offers accommodation in Tarbert with views of the sea at Loch Fyne. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Rooms were fine but we were surprised to find the private bathroom across the hall from the room. Fellow travellers’ room was smaller however the bathroom was all inclusive.

We had a wonderful stay in Winterton, the location is tranquil and picturesque, the accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Great base for walking with dogs, Crinan canal 5 minutes away as well as plenty of stone circle sites and other historical locations. Food at Horseshoe Inn was best I have tasted in a long time and good value too. Paul was a great host taking time to ensure your stay was enjoyable and all other staff very friendly. The stables was clean and basic enough with all you need for a comfortable stay if you are doing self catering.

The property was exceptionally clean everywhere. The room was beautifully decorated and just what you hope for in a b&b. Bobby and Jeanette were great hosts, really friendly and knowledgable about the area. The breakfast was one of the best we’d had, beautifully cooked and presented.
