We stayed only 2 nights in this excellent hotel which also has a restaurant which serves the most authentic Indian cuisine. Awards have been won for the food which is served by people who will explain in great detail how it is cooked and where in India it originated.
The room was very homely with all that is needed to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and should you require any help or knowledge of the area you only have to ask. All in all we had a great stay and we will return!

We had a great weekend staying at Balnearn House whilst we attended our friends wedding at nearby Fortingall.
We thought highly of the accommodation up until we checked out on the Sunday and realised on the drive back to Manchester that an item of clothing had been left in the room. We contacted them within hours of leaving however we were told the item was not in the room. Over the next day we contacted them again to seek clarification, however received no explanation and felt the complaint had not been dealt with in a satisfactory manner. It’s a shame it left a sour note to what was an enjoyable stay.

Perfectly formed little single room. Excellent breakfast (not included) across the road at sister property. Gentleman that checked me in came in the evening to get my TV working and was very friendly and cheerful. Recommended.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
This a very charming B&B with lovely hosts. Our room was very charming and as we arrived very tired, we just loved the bed to get some good rest. The room was also very well organised with a particular good shower. We also loved the breakfast. On top of it Pitlochry is just a lovely little town, so we had a splendid stay here.
Fabulous location, beautifully furnished big room with gorgeous views (#3), great hosts and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Lots of lovely little touches too. Very highly recommended.
Nancy is a great host, she is very welcoming and serves you an outstanding breakfast. The Guest House is beautiful and centrally located in Pitlochry (but absolutely quiet). Next time in Scotland - we will be back!
