Very disappointed with this guesthouse. The pictures online are completely misleading — nothing looks like what was advertised. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and much smaller than shown. It’s nothing like what you'd expect based on the photos. Would not recommend staying here.

Matthew has gone above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well settled in, he gave us such a warm welcome and helped us to feel right at home! He’s done a marvellous job creating a warm and homely space with lots of character. It’s such a charming place to stay and he welcomed us and our two dogs so very kindly. He gave us excellent recommendations and was so helpful with anything we need. We really loved chatting to him and finding out more about the history of the carriages and lots more! The setting is idyllic, so close to a beautiful sandy beach and very close to places like Mundsley and Horsey Gap which were amazing recommendations from Matthew. We had a great and comfortable stay and really think that Matthew puts a lot of effort into maintaining such a beautiful place. It is a really unique stay and we really hope to visit again!
