This is an annex, secure, clean with good facilities. The host family is friendly and helpful. The accommodation is in East Legion, a wealthier suburb so for me it was an interesting contrast to other areas of Accra like Osu. You can find small supermarkets with good bread and other useful items. There are local restaurants and more upmarket venues if wanted.

I stayed at Cozy Haven Suite from April 16 to 20, and it was a great experience. Najat, the host, messaged to check if we were still on our way, which was thoughtful. When we arrived, we were first taken to the downstairs apartment, which we had booked by mistake, I didn’t realize at the time. But we actually wanted the upstairs one, and they quickly got it ready for us and helped us switch without any stress.
I also really appreciated that Najat gave me a discount and was very flexible with the payment. We arrived late and didn’t have enough cash, so she let us pay the next day after we were able to withdraw money.
We even extended our stay by one more night after we had already checked out on the 19th, and that was handled smoothly too. Najat was a kind and helpful host, always available when we needed anything or had questions. I would definitely recommend staying here!

What a Great Place!!
When I found AlanVal Suites on Hotel.com the first question I had was, “I wonder if this place looks like these pictures.” Knowing how easy it is to misrepresent a property and given the fact that we were going to be traveling to Ghana from the US, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
When we arrived at AlanVal Suites we found that everything we saw in the photos was true. The property is gorgeous! The staff is excellent and welcoming. The management is professional, inviting and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious! The area was quiet and peaceful and made us feel safe and secure.
I think I’ve found my new lodging place in Accra.

Connect Africa Apartments is truly Accra’s best-kept secret. It’s hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed in Ghana. The property is impeccably clean and well-maintained, and it's easy to find. The atmosphere is peaceful and private, offering a perfect escape. The host, Eyram, is gracious and exudes the charm of someone with international experience. She’s incredibly delightful, accommodating, and strikes the perfect balance of helpfulness without being overbearing. Her assistant, Evelyn, was also very kind. The environment is safe and respectful, making it a place I feel completely comfortable. I’ve stayed in many places, but I’ve never had a single complaint here—it’s simply too good to be true. I highly recommend this place to anyone, and it’s now my favorite spot in Ghana. I’m already looking forward to my next stay. The only request I’d make is for breakfast during my next visit. Smile, and God bless the staff and owner of this amazing property!

I'm quite surprised that the rating was so high. The room was fine and clean, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The hall shower was not clean, the water didn't drain well, and there were always mosquitoes in the shower room. It's well located and much better priced than other options in the area, but it didn't feel like a 9.2 (the rating at the time I booked).
The staff were very friendly and helped me do laundry while I was there - I have absolutely no complaints with them! I did, however, overhear the owner berating the staff pretty harshly a few times when I left my room to come to breakfast or use the bathroom - this left a bad taste in my mouth.
Overall this place was fine, but the vibes were weird and the bathroom was not great.
