Merak Village was an absolute miracle. It was like stepping into paradise. After a long journey we were welcomed with such warmed and comfort. The staf is really friendly, communicates good and can help you with everything: booking a massage, tips for the environment and renting a scooter. The rooms are super clean and have all the comfort you need. The breakfast is really jummy, you should try the merak omelet and the fresh juices. And the pool... it's like stepping into a magic water with amazing views at their jungle garden. Such a good experience. When we ever come to Bali again we will come back.
A peaceful retreat, Villa Sonia Ubud features rooms and villas with a terrace overlooking a garden, and free Wi-Fi. It has an outdoor pool.

We were a family of 5, including 2 children. We had 2 rooms, a suite and a deluxe double. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and were clean and comfy. The children made full use of the verandah and a amall enclosed garden. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location and accomodation were fantastic - it was a quiet sanctuary away from the busy main street of Ubud. The staff were great and made it a very personable experience, remembering our names and helping us organise taxis and advise us on excursions available.

The villa itself is amazing, but the main asset of it is its people who are running this place. Rita makes the best nasi goreng in the entire ubud. My wife is vegetarian and she was struggling with food in general in Bali, but never had any issues with breakfast. Exceptional service overall and real desire to help.

The location of the Cottage is good as it is not too far from the city centre and is easy to just grab or gojet a ride to the city. It is quiet and the landscaping is beautiful. It exudes a peaceful vibe. Most of all, Kadek, his wife and staff are the warmest people we met, almost full of energy and smiles. They have just built two more cottages facing the pool and it was a pleasure to watch them blessing ceremony for the cottages. I would strongly recommend this place - having the wonderful morning breakfast prepared by their dedicated staff at the patio of the cottage is a most relaxing experience. Thank you Kadek and your people.
