This stay was so much better than we expected! The homestay is amazing. The contact with Fryda was super easy (she provided a lot of information before our stay and was super helpful during our stay and speaks great English), the whole family is super friendly, as well as the three house cats. Fryda recommended us a local festival which only happens once a year and that was such a unique experience. The breakfast was great and varied, the fruits were amazing. You can also order good food and snacks for a very fair price all day, which is super convenient. The rooms were comfortable and clean (we had the triple banana with AC) and the shared bathrooms/showers were the best we ever had. The shared Ijen trip was amazing and at a great price. We could even check out later for a small fee to sleep in after our trip. I would 100/10 recommend this place! Thanks for everything!

The staff were amazing! L’idiota and her husband helped us with everything and really went above and beyond and it felt really like we were more just guests. The breakfast was phenomenal. Stay here if you can and don’t forget to confirm. Just to note the light to the bathroom is outside the room

Beautiful rooms with the comfiest bed we’ve had in the last 4 months in SE Asia. The staff were so so lovely and helpful with giving us recommendations, and their English is excellent. They even made iced tea for us on arrival. There is a kitchen area with free water, tea and coffee too. Would 100% recommend staying here 😊

Warm welcome from Johan and his nephew, the room was clean and already fresh with the AC. The place felt like home and we could also use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and fruits. The location is perfect, in a calm neighborhood, close to the city center. ### Anmeldelse af overnatningsstedet I recently stayed at this wonderful homestay, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The warm welcome from the owners, Mas Bayu and Mbak Indrawati, made my visit truly special. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The location is perfect, very clean, and the room was comfortable. They even arranged an amazing trip to Mount Ijen for me, guiding me through the entire experience. I also enjoyed a fantastic meal at the nearby restaurant, Srengenge Wetan. As a delightful touch, I was welcomed with the most delicious bananas as a snack. Overall, the hospitality and service were exceptional, making my stay memorable. If you're looking for a great place to stay, this is it!
