The staff are very friendly and felt like family. They even spent time with my children. They let me take a later check out so I can take a nap after our Bromo tour. The facilities fit the needs for my family and is what you would expect for the value. There was hot water for showering, but it is not connected to the room. The restaurant was good too. Keep in mind, that this is Southeast Asia and not Beverly Hills.

It’s very simple but gets the job done. Staff is helpful and it’s well-positioned for Mount Bromo. The staff recommended that I go to the sunrise via motorbike and I think that was a great suggestion - it was cheaper than a jeep by half and really fun, plus you can weave around the jeep traffic so the driving is quicker.
Balcony is nice. And I liked how there was a restaurant on site.
I stayed for 2 nights and was satisfied overall.

This is a great little place to stay if you want to visit Bromo, and they'll even arrange a tour for you if you like. The whole aesthetic of the place is very cool and worth seeing. And they also have a great little cafe onsite with better food and drinks than one might expect from a small hotel/homestay. In fact, we noticed that the cafe is also a place that locals frequent, not just guests. The owners even gave us a ride to the bus station for a small fee since we had no way of getting there ourselves. Overall, we had a great experience here.
