BelgiumOne of the better rooms we have stayed in during our 2 weeks in Flores. Its indeed a bit dark, but that avoid waking up at 6am ;)
Aircon works well, the food is delicious (order dinner here, rather then having dinner in the mediocre warungs in the neighbourhood).
Romana is very kind / warm person and very helpfull in arranging trips and cars, even tho they are quit pricey … when we got stuck because maumere airport suddenly closed, she really helped us out !

Sevine organized us a trip to Kelimutu, and Moni and local villages on the way back from volcano. Ask some dishes which are super-local but in the menu, like papaya/banana flowers salad. Susi and Hermann are wonderful hosts who help organize everything from drivers to snorkeling trips. Susi has great tips and suggestions to enjoy Maumere. She also has an interesting garden and helps local disabled people. Pantai Paris is an eco friendly homestay helping to reduce our impact on the world.
