The staff and the owner are very kind. They act like they’re not there but if you need anything they simple appear to help you.
The location is perfect, far enough to have peace but close enough (you need to walk 10/15 minutes to the center) to do everything by foot.
My room was in front of the pool and it was the biggest room I had in Bali!

It was like paradise from the beginning. The room, the food, the surroundings…What made it exceptional is the staff, that was excellent and helped to fulfill all our wishes. We would definitely come back.

The place’s name describes itself - Heaven in Bali. The pool has a beautiful view of the jungle and fields on the other side. The purple room we had is close to the pool and it looked like it’s our own private pool 😊 it was a peaceful and quiet place, away from the busy streets and city. They offer also dinner a la cart, and the juices they make are very yummy 🤤 we came with a motorbike and they have a garage, where you can park. It is close to Kintamani, if you plan to hike the mount Batur.
The only advice I can give is that the electrical sockets and corners next to the bed could be cleaned a bit more or the electrical divider replaced, because the phone charger didn’t stay in the socket well and it kept falling out. But that’s a minor thing 😊

We stayed in the rice fields and the setting of this place is truly spectacular. We experienced a level of peacefulness we didn’t know exists. Everything that is provided is incredible: breakfast; the room; the surrounding area; the pool. There is a local cafe/ restaraunt/ bar that is open all day round and is amazing.
We had no scooter or bike and they were incredibly generous with giving us lifts out of the rice fields as and when we needed it… without planning! This represents the level of care and attention the staff pay to making sure you are okay and happy.
The wifi went down at 9pm at night on one night and they sorted it within 2 minutes of me messaging.
You are not far from Bali and getting a taxi/ scooter is easy and quick. Highly recommend this place to anyone
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
If you're loking for a quiet place in the jungle, this is great. Good room, great hosts. Bike rent can be organised and a motorbike or car is quickly called.
We loved the place and the family, they were so smiling and accommodating. The rooms are in the large garden which has a newly made pool at the end looking out over the coco and banana plantation. There are always fresh coco available. You need a scooter to move around through the astonishing surroundings with many temples and rice fields. Tirta Empul is next to the Homestay same as Pura Mengeling where we had been before for a purification. If available choose room 5 which is a separate cabin.
One of the best hostel I ever stayed. They have free shot every night, and the dinner its really good. Above all, the host family is really welcoming and nice. If you are looking for a social hostel, its your place 😁
Food was great, and everyone was so welcoming & kind. Was very quiet and relaxing! Felt like we experienced the real Bali with everything around, and all the beautiful a places it had to offer. Locals around the area were so sweet.
This is a lovely homestay. You are treated like family and it is amazing. Don't hesitate to come stay with the Tangkas Family. We received such a warm greeting. There are temples and many other cultural activities. Consider renting a scooter to easily get around.
The family is so kind and welcoming and the homestay is in a quiet village, away from the busy touristy areas. You’ll get to experience the real Bali and I couldn’t recommend this highly enough
unbelievably lovely host family with great people, super food, wonderful balinese hospitality,....thx to the family for the great time together...it was pure quality time
