A 5-minute walk from Kilkenny Castle in the center of Kilkenny, Butler House offers accommodations with access to a garden. This 4-star guest house offers a 24-hour front desk and an elevator.

This is quite possibly one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in all of our travels. It is beautiful space—well decorated and spotless—and our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are delicious and generous. We would be delighted if we could return and stay again.

We really enjoyed sitting outback in the evenings. Very relaxing. You have everything you need to cook a dinner if you would like. The apartment was relaxing and close to everything. You do not need a car. You can walk to everything. We would stay there again when in town. I would recommend this apartment if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.

Billycan Guest Rooms in Kilkenny provides accommodations with free Wifi a 9-minute walk from Kilkenny Castle, 12 miles from Mount Juliet Golf Club, and 20 miles from Carrigleade Golf Course.

We had a lovely stay at Billycan Guest Rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and very cozy. I liked the wall-to-wall carpet too. The host set up the homely room with tea, coffee etc. You will have everything you need in the room. The bed was very comfortable, I slept so well. The shower was very good, and it was a plus to have a heater in the bathroom! The Wi-Fi connection was very fast. It was very easy to check-in & out. The location was excellent, right in the middle of the town, 6 minutes walk to Kilkenny MacDonagh sation, 8 minutes walk to Kilkenny Castle. If I come back to Kilkenny in the future, I would love to stay in this hotel again. I would highly recommend staying at Billycan Guest Rooms!

Market Slip House in Kilkenny features accommodations with free Wifi a 10-minute walk from Kilkenny Railway Station, 12 miles from Mount Juliet Golf Club, and 21 miles from Carrigleade Golf Course.

Great location. Great set up, larger room, big bathroom, closet to hang clothes, small sink and fridge. There was also a table with two chairs. Perfect for walking anywhere in Kilkenny. Loved that you can open the windows. You need a code to get in the door from outside, and there is well lit narrow carpeted steps/hallway to the room, which has a code entry as well.

In the center of Kilkenny, The Rafter's Gastropub is a 1-minute walk from Kilkenny Castle. It has rooms with free Wi-Fi, an award-winning bar, a rooftop terrace and a restaurant.

My husband and I stayed one night passing through Kilkenny and enjoyed our time here. The owner was very nice and accommodating. After exploring, we came back to the pub to have dinner and it was pretty quiet (probably because it was a Tuesday) but enjoyable. We took a pint up to their beer garden which was really nice! The next morning they had breakfast waiting for us before we left. Overall great stay.

Seconds away from the River Nore and Kilkenny Castle, The Waterfront Townhouse Accommodations provides well-appointed rooms in a city center location. Guests can enjoy free WiFi.

This was old. Shower small. Sink faucet loose. No chair. No table. Not even a hook to hang a jacket. Bed was comfortable. The maid was very pleasant as she helped us get in our room because I was sent the wrong code. (Thank goodness she was still there as it was after 4pm checkin). There is no staff and no breakfast. It is only a room

Glendine Inn felt like a real authentic Kilkenny stay. From the locals in the pub, to the Hurling championship memorabilia, to the staff and service - everything was excellent! Public transport is available however I chose to walk everywhere as it’s a small city with plenty of beauty to see. Highly recommend this accomodation and Kilkenny!

Cathy is a great hostess and makes you feel like a friend of the family. Staying at her house, walking into Kilkenny and having a pint at Tynans, I felt like a local.
