Nice family run traditional b&b in a very quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Was lovely to walk around the farm and the quiet surrounding area.
This is a taste of rural Ireland away from the more touristy & busier towns. Two bars within a short walking distance. The Anvil was good for food while Murphys was more atmospheric for a pint and chat with locals.
Only improvement suggestion is that wifi was not great in bedrooms. It was strong in the common areas though. An extender would solve that. Or maybe it’s better to not have wifi and just relax after the day of sightseeing. I was so tired it didn’t bother me.
Wild Atlantic Stays is located in Castlemaine, just 17 miles from INEC and 19 miles from Muckross Abbey.

The stay was great, Catriona was sweet and the family seemed kind. There's a cute kitchenette with kettle and fridge. The bed was comfortable for the night and the on-suite bathroom was convenient. One drawback with the bathroom was the shower, the temperature kept shifting no matter what I'd have it on. I would have it at a reasonable heat then go to boiling hot randomly. So be careful of that! Otherwise the stay went seamlessly.

Great place to stay, lovely host. Everything set up nicely, very clean and tidy. Perfect location for Killorglin, just 10 minutes walk from town. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.
Beautifully decorated , immaculately clean. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice and all very tasty. The restaurant was also lovely and amazing food. The staff bent over backwards to ensure we had a great couple of days. Shops, pubs and the river were all within a few minutes walk. The locals were also welcoming. You could park on the street or in the free carpark two minutes walk away. Would definitely stay at the Bianconi again.
Very quiet, relaxed, just what needed it to be. Bed was comfortable, clean, OK breakfast.
We had room 2.
Host was very friendly and knowledgeable of the locals and local facilities. Bunkers Bar is recommended by the host and my family members who are local.
