Beech lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Wexford, 32 km from Hook Lighthouse.

My parents stayed in Granny flat at back. Bed was horrendous. Needed new mattress. Unable to find on google maps. It is 40mins outside Wexford town. Much longer than 19.2 km. No B& B sign on lane or outside property. Steps at back door were very bad. Television did not work at all & the person refused to get it fixed. A fireplace was not secure & just left leaning against a hole in wall in a room. Lights were not turned on outside-very dark & unsafe to walk-my folks had to use a torch to come in each time. In breakfast room-only 1 table for 6 people. Everyone had to sit at the table. It stated full breakfast-only got continental breakfast. My folks asked about hot breast fast & git it next day. It was terrible, you couldn’t eat it. They did ask about why no hot food & was told it wasn’t being ate & v expensive. My folks stayed for 3 nights & it was the worst place they ever stayed in. Only for they had sn event on, they would have left after first morning.

Location is quiet countryside but also very convenient for the Rosslare ferry and this was the reason for my choice. It's a lovely old country house, very spacious and recently done up throughout in modern style, good attention to detail and very clean. My single room was not en suite but I had sole use of a fine modern bathroom (and a lovely outlook). Ferry timing meant I left too early for breakfast but lovely hostess Jackie offered a takeaway coffee and croissant (freshly baked).

Nothing was to much trouble for Liam. Everyone was friendly. All the staff are extremely helpful. First class service from Kieran. Cracking breakfast. The locals in the bar, particularly PJ and Niall great in telling us the places to go and see. Kieran cleared an area undercover to park our bikes. Close to Wexford 15 minute walk. Lots of place to visit.

Clare and Collin were excellent hosts, with good advice on what to do and where to eat. Marty B pub is a must to visit. Locals are very friendly. We like the view of the bird feeder while eating breakfast. Can recommend Killurin Lodge to anybody exploring Ireland like us.

Location free parking. Everything was good but little bit dated in the room. I upgraded to seaview but honestly I could have skipped it unless I was going for a suite. Only stayed one night but I would think that it's perfect for a weekend away for locals cause of the swimming pool and different restaurants all located within the hotel. Staff very friendly and the look of the whole hote was very welcoming and glamours
