I only stayed here for one night, as I was continuing my journey. I was arriving in the evening and was picked up from the airport. I cannot say much about the location as I didn't have time to explore the neighbourhood. But it was a very quiet location and surrounded by a lovely garden. It was a very warm welcome and the rooms are spacious and had everything I needed. They put together a very lovely little basket of all kinds of toiletries. The space is very clean and cosy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I very much enjoyed my conversations with John. It was the perfect place for me to begin my Kerala adventure. Totally recommend to stay there.

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! Beautiful house with private bathroom and big kitchen. the owner is so kind, he picked up us with a tuc tuc and he was also all the time paying attention if we needed something. There are free bikes to use!
The place is so calm and clean. It's a bit far from the center and beach but with the bike it's just 15 minutes.
