The location is right in the heart of Old Manali, easily accessible from Komal Dhaba. However, vehicles can only go as far as Komal Dhaba—after that, it’s about a 200-meter walk. First-time visitors might find it tricky to locate, and the trail is uneven, making it difficult to manage if you're carrying heavy luggage. Do note that there’s no help available for carrying bags, so pack light and carry only what you can handle.
Once you arrive, though, the place is worth the effort. Surrounded by lush greenery and cherry trees, the hostel offers a peaceful vibe with beautiful views. It's a three-storey structure with a garden and a cozy dining area in front. The resident dogs are friendly and add to the charm. Food was quite good, and orders are conveniently placed through an app. The room we booked for three people was on the third floor—spacious, airy, and offered a stunning view. Room cleanliness was decent, though there’s some room for improvement.

The most beautiful feeling that I carry around while writing this review is the hospitality of the hosts; they offered us food that we liked, and all they cooked was delicious. Secondly, the location is one of high points in Manali, close to the Hadimba Devi temple and the Mal road. The balcony looks over to the snow-capped peaks in late December. Besides, the host is also trying to learn Bengali ! I would love to recommend this homestay for anyone who is looking for a clean, comfy, budget-friendly, and high-altitude stay in Manali. Raj was one of the best hosts I’ve ever met, the team were so kind in allowing me to check in early from the night bus, Raj was accommodating and incredibly helpful I was delighted. They kindly gave me tea and biscuits in the morning.
The rooms were spacious with a good sized bathroom. Great WiFi and a lovely quiet location, walking distance in Old Manali from the cafes and restaurants etc.
Improvements are being made to the social area, there’s spaces outside of dorms and rooms to chill so there’s a nice atmosphere too.
Bruno the big brown dog was also a highlight as well as lovely Ginger the retriever!

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Locals manali is like a second home.everyone here is so polite and caring i was feeling like i was with my friends and family though i was a solo traveller not for a single minute i was feeling alone....must visit homestay in manali.
