The highlight was the homely atmosphere. Right from Rishav who runs it, his parents and the full support staff team from Ravi’s food to each and every person was perfect. The location right in the middle of the tea estate and having fresh produce was incredible. Rishav is born and brought up there and knows every tiny corner and can give great recommendations. Close to the safari as well. Don’t miss the tea tour and the story of how the family migrated from Rajasthan.

Very helpful host. Right next to the main road and nearby Kohora gate. We were provided with meals on time. We were lodging in room 3 (3 beds), no AC, but had geyser.

Decent stay next to Kaziranga national park. The room was more or less okay. The shower worked and we had hot water. We were provided with extra blankets and extra bedsheets as it got a bit cold. Overall mostly clean for a place that isn't really made for tourists. No insect or anything. The staff was also helpful even though the person that was at reception there didn't really speak English. Relatively close to Kaziranga entrance.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Helpful and friendly staff with good english skills, perfect location to explore Kaziranga: They helped us to book a safari, taking us directly from the home stay without any additional costs.
The food was traditional Assam kitchen, very well prepared. Tea was the best tea of our 3 weeks in India!
We spent a wonderful time in ethnic cocoon homestay.
The place itself is beautiful with big garden, pink flowers.
We stayed in a comfortable and traditional bamboo hut.
The team is very friendly, we could have very interesting discussions and could see how they enjoy preparing delicious meals, listening to music and dancing.
They also organize keep safari nearby, and it was a beautiful afternoon, with a good guide and animals.
Very relaxed and beautifully located. The sunsets across the tea plantation are stunning. The food was delicious. The hosts were charming and very helpful. They also arranged our jeep safari - we were picked up from and dropped off at the homestay and it was just a short, scenic ride to the entrance of the park. We extended our stay here because we loved it so much. If you can - stay in the Bamboo Cottage - it’s wonderful!
Highly recommended!
An extremely warm and peaceful place overlooking tea gardens. Host Devyani is equally warm and hospitable.Operated by a group of friends who are passionate about preserving local culture, the house is a reflection of this passion. Although its a homestay, there is no intrusion to the privacy. Pls don’t forget to eat the delectable local food. The cook is amazing chef and will go an extra mile to feed you with love.
overall, beautiful homely place where I’d like to go back soon
The homestay and food was quite good. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helped us with everything we needed and beyond.
It's a beautifully done up space and I would definitely recommend this if you're visiting kaziranga.
