Rooms in the side by side apartments were spacious and comfortable. Staff - Alwyn and Sushil were very helpful and friendly. They helped arrange very good drivers for us. Breakfasts cooked by Alwyn and Sushil were very good and were made to suit our requests. E.g. - we bought Moira bananas and they cooked them for breakfast for us at our request. It has a treed, quiet environment around the accommodation with a good swimming pool to relax in after being out in the heat. Pool was bout 12 m in length and 1.5 m deep. We enjoyed using the 4 abailable bicycles for riding in the morning when it was cool and less traffic.

The room was spacious with everything you needed like a fridge, a kettle and lots of bottled water. We were able to get our clothes washed for free and breakfast was included at a little restaurant across the road. It was a short walk to the Fontainhas district and in a lovely area near a park. Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful old heritage house with all modern facilities not too far from the city but amidst lush greenery! The host were exceptional, provided us with tips and suggestions and patiently answered our questions. Highly recommended!

I have visited about 30 countries, but this is the first time I have stayed at such a wonderful guest house. This is a magical house, has everything you can imagine, plus the care and support of a kind host. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail,it is unreal. The host Denzel is an incredibly kind-hearted person. He guessed the desire of each guest, the host was very attentive and responsive and treated them like a family member. I really spent these days as if I were at home. Insanely delicious breakfast and snacks, unlimited tea, coffee, water; 24-hour support from the host, a super-equipped house, a cozy room, an incredibly spacious balcony and common areas, care and attention - that is all A Vereda Homestays! Hope to visit it again!

Loved my stay at the Chateau Madeira - a new property by Goan Diaries, nestled amidst nature, with a perfect blend of the preserved beauty of the past, and the convenience of the modern life. The place has been meticulously done, with every corner, each art piece, having a story to tell of its own. A much recommended experience in the beautiful village of Moira. Special mention to Jesus, who went out of his way to ensure comfort and make the stay memorable, Denzil for the stimulating conversation, and Michael for the efficient coordination. Only stayed for one night but booked for 2 as going on an E-bike tour the following day. The entrance to the property is around the back, but do not be put off by this, it’s just that I’m a female solo traveller so am always on alert. The facilities were clean, toiletries provided. You have Access to the kitchen for tea, coffee etc. The bed was a bit hard but not a problem. I had a balcony in my room which was most welcome. The homestay is around a 8 minute walk to the Basilica Of Bon Jesus, Si Chaple, Archaeology museum and the other church’s are all within walking distance but if not you can get a rickshaw. The owner organised a taxi for my return journey to Anjuna for a reasonable price and the driver, his friend, was so friendly and knowledgeable, thank you guys.

We had an amazing stay at Serene Waters, a guest house nested near a beautiful lake with alligators and amazing wildlife. The place is managed by Leo who is very nice and interesting person. We will come again !
