A recently renovated homestay in Kānha, Surwahi Social Ecoestate Kanha offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities.

We, a couple of middle age from Sweden, stayed at Surwahi Social Ecoestate Kanha for 5 nigths in january 2025. If you want a 5 star spotless experience, this Ecoestate is not for you. But if you want a genuine and personal India experience, this is THE place to visit. We had the very best stay, with visits to local villages and was able to come closer to India than ever before. This is our 4th visit to India, so we do have some previous experience. And this was by far the best experience ever! Mr Narendra Ji was very helpful in everything and made sure that we were satisfied. The communication with Lokesh was outstanding! And the staff do a fantastic job. The food! Delicious and plentiful everyday! The property is marvelous with lots of trees and very well maintained. They are doing a very good job to minimize the footprint of us tourists. I wish more places could do the same. We will definitely go back to SSEK the next time we visit Kanha.

    The breakfast was delicious. The location is a little tricky if you'll come for the first time but it is worth traveling. The dinner later was great and the chef really cares for the person eating as it will give the homestay feeling. The staff was professional and well mannered.

    The best part about the stay at this 10 acres of forest homestay is the serenity. The place is so isolated that you will feel like you are in a different world altogether. You will be surrounded by greenery and birds chirping, and there is nothing more beautiful than waking up to a morning sunrise. The home stay offers amazing food too- it's freshly cooked and served with love. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too, making sure to take care
