The Location was very good and also the Food that was prepared and served was fantastic. Staff were friendly and responsive enough to cater to any requests. Overall I would rate it 5 being the top.

The property is away from the town pollution and crowd. It is just the entrance of Ooty from Mysore. Refreshment snacks and Food is available in your doorsteps. The view of the mountain from the property is so nice and pleasant.

The property is situated in a village on the borders of Mudumalai forest. You can heer voices of crackers used to divert elephants during the night.
The stay had minimal facilities required to spend your night but was a great value for money. You can spot cows and deers in the open ground outside the property. Would recommend to take a high beam torch to spend time spotting deers at the night.
The owner, Mr. Prashant Joshi was a very kind and empathetic man. The property faced water issue due to neighbouring tenants leaving the tap on but he handled the situation very well.
The Udupi restaurant near the property had the perfect Masala Dosa one can crave for. Do try it.

If you want to visit the tiger reserve and watch elephants, this is the best place to be but if you want to visit Ooty, i would never recommend this stay because it is quite far from Ooty.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Excellent location. Homestay was just besides the forest. I was able to view deer's and peacock from my room in the morning.
Rooms are spacious and clean.
For a city dweller like me it was a wonderful and enjoyable experience spending a night just besides the jungle.
