The staff was kind and the position was very good, but I want to give a full overview to help other travellers. The house is clean, but my room at the ground floor was very dark and dump, the bedsheet were smelling like mold, and overall the room gave me a feeling of suffocation. I had to go and sit by the reception at the entrance to get some fresh air. I wanted to cook, but the kitchen was in poor conditions. At night I went to get some water and I found cockroaches on the counter and on the floor... And they were as big as small mice. It was really disgusting. I hate to give bad reviews but this was my honest experience at Orange Valley.

Great location, very comfortable bed and soft, cosy bedding. When I arrived the kitchen needed cleaning and filter water changing. When I pointed this out both issues were addressed directly. There was a miscommunication around my requested late check out which led to some confusion and upset however this was addressed and the manager made a lot of effort to put things right. This is no frills budget accommodation with great AC, in a central location, with space to cook, many local eateries, a good shower and living space. Some tea bags and cooking basics e.g oil/spices would improve as would more thorough cleaning, better communication between caretaker and manager and access to English speaking TV. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay there and felt very safe as a lone female. Thank you 🙏🏻
