Fantastic location! Right in front of the Golden Temple!
While every city and town of India, including Amritsar, has millions of motorcycles and tuk-tuks on the streets, this hotel is located so conveniently that you need to make just 10-20 steps, and you are on the marble floor of a strictly pedestrian plaza at the approach to the Golden Temple. Such an excellent location!!
We stayed two nights in two different rooms. The first night was on the 4th floor where we could actually see the golden top of the Temple. It looked incredible. While obviously we loved the view, the mattress was not good with coils sticking out. There was also a problem with tiny ants on the floor.
Our second night was on the first floor, no particularly beautiful views, but a very comfortable mattress, and no ants.
Both rooms were very clean, except the second night when the bed sheets did not look clean, but as soon as we mentioned it, they were properly changed, so it was no problem at all.
The host service was a little "sleepy", but it didn't bother us much.
Good Wi-Fi, good water pressure, hot water 24/7.
Overall, we recommend this hotel, but prior to check-in, touch the mattress and check bed sheets.

MYE home stay is conviniently located close to Amritsar Junction railway station, and not too far from Harimandir, the Golden Temple.
The rooms are very clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and has hot water, and the area makes it easy to move around.
Close by there's a mall, delicious street food, and plenty of autorikshas to move around if one needs. I've been also walking which is nice.
The hosting family is kind, helpful and respectful. It's a high standard homestay with all facilities that one might need. I've stayed one week, which has been very soothing and relaxing. Thank you for welcoming me in your home, a truly confortable and beautiful home.
