Sahid & Ayaan were very courteous,supportive and prompt. Cook ,Manjoor was good and prepared food well but it doesn't suit our tastebuds much. There was no TV in the room. Bum shower was non functional. It's offbeat location in a small village Mohiyan very near to Tangmarg.

The cottage was very spacious with all the facilities and enough room for 4-5 people. The highlight was the hammam flooring that kept us warm during harsh winter nights. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Overall a great place with great Apple orchards and Mountain View.

The location is really good, Staffs are really good they treat you like their family, we got to eat fresh home made tasty food and their tour facility is also really appreciative as we were lucky to see snowfall and they managed really well to do so without any hassle. It's worth staying in " The Himalayan Nest".

Firstly, the location is quite picturesque with apple garden, meadows, river. The place is quite and if you really want to see the kashmiri village life then this homestay is perfect for you. Their baithak where they welcome guest will instantly make you feel home and give perfect kashmiri vibe. Secondly, it's owner Firdaus was very friendly and welcoming in nature and showed us perfect kashmiri hospitality. My 5 yr old kid became very fond of him. He gave us a tour of the jungle and farms and we were mesmerized with it. This was a perfect start for our beautiful kashmir trip. Moreover, he helped us in arranging taxi for the whole kashmir trip. So in the end go in this homestay for village experience, kashmiri hospitality, picture perfect location and last but not the least Firdaus Bhai friendliness.

    It was my first visit to Kashmir and daisy dales made it really memorable. The rooms were so cozy and we had the best sleep with the river flowing by.. caretaker was always there to assist us, it’s a lovely home stay will definitely come back.
