This place is beyond beautiful - you can view the sunrise from your room! We spotted lots of birds, including snake birds and kingfishers. The owner is very kind and helpful.
The location is not well connected by public transport, but we had our own rental car, so it was alright- enough room for parking.
One of the best places we stayed at during our Kerala trip- quiet, peaceful and lots of nature! Would definitely recommend.
PS: there is a Kerala government tourism department about 20 min drive away- we chose the 'Village Experience' there- and that is a great way to go on a boat with a local and interact with the locals and their ways of life (they taught us coconut tree climbing, rope making, fishing and lots more!).

I had a wonderful time with Leena, Jude and her daughter Anna. They were very welcoming and I felt like being part of the family. I stayed for two nights and even arriving in the morning was no problem. We ent fishing together and went to the village with the scooter, we even did a backwatertrip together.
