Freya Guesthouse was comfortable and a good location. For walking to food, museums, and sites. Also near bus stops.
The staff was very nice and the house was clean. We had a shared bathroom, which I was nervous about. We did not have to wait because there were 3 bathrooms ,and one was always open.
I would stay here again. Thanks!

The place was very quiet and cute decorated, You have fully equipped and cozy kitchen. You can have some coffee, tea, cereal, etc. Every room has different name on the door, with very cute keys by the way. The staff is very kind and can help you whenever you need. They invited us to a complimentary breakfast in the main property Blue House B&B - Icelandic pancakes and coffee. They also inform you if the sky is clear, and where you can catch the Aurora - next to the property 2min up the hill or on Grotta lighthouse 25 min walking. RECOMMEND

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The apartment is nice and warm and it’s placed in a good position, close to Rekjavik but in a quite place.
Just one room as bedroom, living room and kitchen but it’s enough for a couple who need to stay for a week. Large windows allow to appreciate the light from outside and the sunset, lovely! Very Very Very comfortable bed, 10 stars are not enough for that! We past 6 days here and for what concerns the homestay everything was perfect!
