Our flight arrived at around 2am so we wanted somewhere close to the airport. The room was small but super cosy and the beds were comfortable, we had a good nights sleep. In the morning the shared bathrooms were always available, spacious and very clean. A 10 second walk across the road took us to a fabulous breakfast (including great coffee)- amazing to have this included in the price. It really set us up for the day.
A taxi into Reykjavik cost a a huge amount, however, it still worked out as a cost effective option, as it was much cheaper than a night in a central hotel, and much closer to the airport. A great option if you have a flight arriving late or an early departure.

Rooms were large with comfortable beds. The property itself was warm and welcoming on a wet and windy night, in true Icelandic style, and was easy to find with parking outside. We were only there overnight leaving very early the following morning, so did not get chance to make much use of the kitchen (other than for making drinks) and dining facilities, but it all looked sparkling clean and well appointed. The bathroom was large and very well appointed with showering materials and towels provided. A wee touch of luxury to finish a magical 10 days in Iceland.
The only bit of information that would have been useful in advance was knowledge about who else would be in the property whilst we were there, as we did not know if we would have the property to ourselves, or the owners would be onsite.

A small guesthouse in a private home conveniently located to Keflavik airport. Of the 3 rooms on offer in the main house only one, ours, has an en-suite. The room has been designed for comfort, a small fridge available and a well lit bathroom. We only needed a room for one night before an early AM flight back to the US. Our hosts were welcoming, recommended a restaurant just 2 blocks away for dinner and provided a ride to the airport in the morning. Guest house is well located to the Blue Lagoon.
Atmospheric place. Beautiful house in the port district. The host was waiting for us in the middle of the night - thank you! A rich and varied breakfast served by a lovely hostess! It was a wonderful start to visit Iceland :-)
Fantastic place to wind down after our tour of Iceland. Very comfortable and great facilities to game and relax (sauna, hottub etc). A truly high tech place.
Great host who was very friendly and supported us with tips and suggestions.
Close to the airport and close to Keflavik for some restaurants.
This Guesthouse is very close to airport. Liked the transfer service to airport and self service breakfast.
Rooms are clean. Shared bathrooms are maintained very well. Great host.
We loved every minute of our stay. This was a real once in a lifetime holiday for my mum's 70th and made so special because of our host family. I can't tell you how grateful I am. we felt so welcomed and at home xx
Perfect for a stopover, just a short ride from the airport. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Spotless bathroom with a nice big shower. Lots of options for coffee/tea. Great host too.
