Our flight arrived at around 2am so we wanted somewhere close to the airport. The room was small but super cosy and the beds were comfortable, we had a good nights sleep. In the morning the shared bathrooms were always available, spacious and very clean. A 10 second walk across the road took us to a fabulous breakfast (including great coffee)- amazing to have this included in the price. It really set us up for the day.
A taxi into Reykjavik cost a a huge amount, however, it still worked out as a cost effective option, as it was much cheaper than a night in a central hotel, and much closer to the airport. A great option if you have a flight arriving late or an early departure.

Great accommodation! Since the rooms are near the entrance, we could hear a late arrival, which made it quite noisy during the night (around 12 AM to 3 AM). Just something to keep in mind for light sleepers The bathroom is very specious, great location.

We landed very late at night at the airport and had to pickup a rental car before checking in. It was both super close to the airport and the rental company, very ideal with the self check in. We only stayed for a few hours but everything for perfect for our stay.
