Had a great 2-night stay at The Old House. While we were there, it was quite cold but the bedrooms had heat and we were provided with additional space heaters. Food was very good as we ate at the Old Cafe both nights. His Mansaf was excellent and the best we had in Jordan. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. On a cold night, we asked if he could prepare soup and he made us lentil soup which was the best I've ever had. Don't miss out on the food in his cafe, really the best we had in the country. Authentic Jordanian food, not watered down for tourists.

We liked the location, the family running it, the structure and the breakfast also. We missed towels, plate, fork but very quickly they were replacing it for us, so just tell your problem and they are willing to help any time :). And our host offered to show us the wadis for some little amount, so it worth to go with him instead of your own.
