The owner is very sympathetic and kindly offered some of his tempura! Thank you! The female dorm has an amazing view. The house is located in place with incredible view, very close to obasute station. I don’t have any car, and it was in ready to get to the service center where you can get some food!

    Very nice home stay with the two hosts who speak english. House is beautiful and roomy, the hotel section is one section of their home but completely divided. House has very nice traditional styling Breakfast food and products were all nice local Nagano products They made us feel very special on our honeymoon even making us a special cake. The hosts are very helpful especially with the introduction around the house and room and special spa in the bathroom We would recommend anyone with a car to come stay and check out nagano.

    This is a great little backpackers. The staff are very friendly, and really go out of their way to give you advice about travel, food and tourism in the area. The building is a beautiful old house which has been well maintained and is clean. I really liked the lounge area, where I met both locals and many international travellers. There's a great atmosphere there - both very relaxed, but also social.

    It is a great hostel to stay in Nagano: its a very traditional house, but very clean and has everything you need. The common area is nice to socialise with other guests. The location is not to far from the station and very close to the temple.
