Everything was great except the chilly walk down the hall to the toilet at night. This was due to the freezing weather outside. This was an amazing bargain for the quality of the accommodations. It is in an easy location with a grocery store one block away, laundromat next door, the bus stop, 7-11 and taxi stand are only three blocks away. Short walk to the Hagi Museum and historical housing district. The young host is easily available!

Both apartments are perfectly located in the center of Hagi's castle town, surrounded by ceramics stores and historic Samaria houses. The daidai apartment itself is beautiful, with tatami mats, sliding doors and windows, low furniture, and beautiful pieces of Hagi-yaki. The views on the garden are also beautiful. It's almost like staying at a ryokan, but with 2 comfortable beds. This is a special place.

The dormitory was nice and the guest house in general was very well kept and overlooked a field. A calm retreat. Best of all was the host, however, who was very kind and helpful - even drove me to the doctor nearby. There's a cafe as well to have easy access to good food. A konbini is a short walk way, too.

The owner is really nice. He drove us to the bus station at the end of our trip. The location is close to the cave and lots of hiking trails! The location was easy to find.
