Shota is a welcome and friendly owner. We can feel all his heart in this house, that he renovated with a carpenter friend. It was a lot of work to make it look comfy, friendly, open, clean, convenient. There is a special attention to natural material, and the kitchen just made me want to cook everyday just at least to use the handmade ceramics there. The location, in the middle of historical Tokoname village, let every one experience the japanese life stay in the middle of locals. Tokoname has a lot of wonderful shops, restaurants and cute coffee shop. Every one would love to spend more than one night there. Enjoy the lovely peaceful life of a japanese small city.
And for all the late bird, Nagoya is just 40 minutes from there by train so it's really easy to enjoy the excitment that cities can bring.
I would love to stay there for more than few days 🧡

I came early to leave my luggage there, and they offered to have it ready in my room when I come back. They did exactly that. My room had good facilities and a balcony with a surprisingly nice view.
