Incredible location, far enough from the buzzing Osaka city landscape, but close enough and easily accessible through the HK tramline. The hosts were amazing, foreign friendly and always trying to accommodate my every need. I was very happy to have opted for the breakfast included option, it was the best thing I have started my days with in a long time: delicious, nutritious and healthy.
The room was everything I have hoped for and more. It was my first time experiencing sleeping in a futon on tatami and it was so worth it. Loved it so much!
The simplicity used in the room arrangement and decoration is a plus, both aesthetic and practical.
I promised myself to come back to Sakai and Sakainoma in my next trip to Japan!
I wish I can elevate my Japanese knowledge till next time so I can interact more with the hosts and maybe participate to the events they hold in the cafe area. The music and atmosphere I experienced during my stay proved once again that Japanese people really know how to have fun and spend quality time in the company of true art and beauty.

We stayed at Nakagawa's Cozy House for 1 month during the cherry blossom season. Many guests have thanked him for his kindness, I do not need to repeat that here. However, I want to mention two things to reflect how helpful he is as a host.
First, I tried to send a chair overseas but was rejected and it was to be returned. Mr Nakagawa helped me handle the situation.
Second, on the day of departure, we had so many pieces of luggage. Mr. Nakagaw took 2 big pieces and walked to the train station with us.
You cannot find too many hosts like this.

Location was great, easy to get to the metros. The flat is very cute and has everything you need. We didn’t cook, so not sure how well is the kitchen facility but the owner responds quickly and flexible with the check out time. Overall great experience.
