I love this place! Sure me and my friends would come back to rent this place again. The location is good that is in the heart of Chinatown because you can stroll and have a rest for a while then stroll around again.

This shack richly deserves its official one star rating. Once you unroll 2 mattresses there is barely 4 square feet left to place your suitcase. The “upgraded” room I stayed was probably 9 square metres in toto, a private toilet included. It was on the 2nd floor climbing an outside metal staircase. Resembled a treehouse. The 1st floor room I stayed was outside the main house. You’ll have to jump over a stream of mud if it’s raining, to get to a lobby and to access a shared toilet or shower or a shared sink to brush your teeth. The room had cold drafts with a door and window closed, I almost got a cold from sleeping on a floor in a drafty room. The pillows are paper-thin. More comfort if you rest your head on a backpack. The owner-operator is quite rude and unhelpful. I am honestly baffled at who coul give this place the shining reviews it received, or how. A better room seems to be a bunk-bed dormitory room. Perhaps someone enjoyed staying there with total strangers?
