Chenda was such a good host ensuring we knew where everything was and helped with local info and travel arrangements. Plus she is a fantastic cook! I had 2 completely delicious suppers for a really reasonable price. They made me feel very welcome and I even went to a nice French bar/restaurant with them. It's very peaceful and relaxed here (apart from some maintenance work nearby in the morning which can't be helped by the homestay). You can rent a bicycle or scooter, or order a tuktuk online, so it's easy to get around. The shower is hot, the bed is very comfortable and the room was very big. The location is perfect for the crab market and the beach - close to everything. The owner is so lovely, she rescues a lot of animals that have disabilities like blindness and gives them a chance at a good life, genuinely so nice to see.
