Our host showed us the sugar cane plantation, went on a little safari with us, spoiled our two little boys with sugar cane and river adventures and we couldn't have imagined a better stop on our road trip through Sri Lanka! The home cooked food from his mum was excellent. Bhagya looked after us and showed us around the local area. We also booked a safari into Yala national park with Bhagya and were very lucky to see lots of wild life including 2 leopards- thanks to his keen eyesight. The vain is private and comes with kitchenette loaded with snacks and cold drinks (even beer) and a washing machine for your clothes! The location is next to the national park, making it perfect for a safari trip. Lots of nature and wildlife around and the host Bhagye is an excellent guide for a tour in Zone 5 (we were the only jeep that day). Abd his mother will prepare tasty original Sri Lankan dishes. Bhagya showed us around his beautiful home and afterwards hist mother cooked us the best curry we've had in Sri Lanka.
